Isla Vega - Kitchen

Many improvements have been made in the kitchen area at camp. They extended another roof just outside the wood stove to cover the new "tatacua" and for the firewood. They also lowered the height of the wood stove and increased the number of pots it will hold. By taking the firewood outside they have freed up space to move around the wood stove including some counterspace for placing pots, etc.
The most urgent need in the kitchen now is an adequate dishwashing area with sinks and drying racks. We have also talked for several years about the need for an ice maker, especially for the January camp. There are plans in the works for the dishwashing, hopefully before the January 2015 camp.
