After a quick shower, we headed over to Charlie's for a late lunch and then to the church for a 4:00 pm service. Actually, two lessons. Each lesson is 50 to 60 minutes long. Between the two lessons we simply stand and sing a chorus or two. I started with a sermon based on Isaiah chapter 5; "What More Could I Have Done?".
After service, about 9:00, we went back to Charlie's for supper. After supper we went to our "hotel" and to bed. Bedtime would usually be around 12:00am.
Friday and Saturday was about the same routine except that we also had a morning service. Up about 6:30, shower and over to Charlie's for breakfast. The morning services started at 10:00 with two lessons. I gave the same series in both morning sessions and afternoon services.
I also spoke Saturday evening and one lesson Sunday morning. Saturday evening I spoke on "Why Does The Bush Not Burn?". The Lord anointed and the Holy Spirit manifested himself. Sunday morning I spoke on "Lot Chose For Himself". The second part of the service consisted in the observance of the Lord's supper.
Immediately following the morning service we headed out to the airport, having packed that morning. We had to be at the airport by 12:30 to catch our 2:30 flight from Buenos Aires to Asuncion.
