Asuncion - Paraguay

We arrived in Asuncion with about 90° heat, but a pleasant south wind. We went directly to Noemi's, (Loida's sister) showered and got a bite to eat, then we headed to church at Bro. Yahari's. I was to speak, but there was some confusion. After service we stayed and ate a bite there before heading back to Noemi's.  It was after midnight once again before we got to bed and we were up again by 4:30 to head to Herradura, Argentina, where Bro. Richards had his work.

Eliezer, Abel's dad, drove me to Herradura, while Loida went on to Ciudad Del Este with Noemi to be with her family. Herradura is about 200Klm (120 miles) South East of Asunción just across the Paraguay river. We crossed over to Argentina via balsa (ferryboat) at Ita Enrramada.  I remember doing that with dad years ago, when I was a boy, but since then we had always used the new Remanso bridge. The ferryboat seems to be quicker, as you save about 70 kilometers (43 miles) of driving time and and the immigration and customs process is much quicker.
