January 2010 Trip

Looking forward to my trip to Paraguay this coming January 12th.  I will be arriving, the Lord willing, in Asunción Wednesday the 13th.  We do so appreciate those of you who continually hold us up in prayer.  Loida will not be traveling with me this time, but she still needs your prayers while I am gone.

Looking back over the last year we are impressed once again that it can not be much longer until His coming.  Many going through trials in this economy but I like what Anna McIntyre said the other night;  "Looking around at this assembly and what God is doing... there may be a financial recession, but I don't see any spiritual recession."  I could not agree more. Spiritually we are so very blessed.  I will say, however, that nationally, and globally, there has been a spiritual recession for quite some time (1 Samuel 3:1).  And I'm not sure we have "bottomed" out and I don't see that there will be a "revival" before the coming of the Lord to take his bride way.  We do have, however, this glorious reality that, no mater what is going on around us, WE can have revival in our hearts and lives and assemblies.  May we desire and seek more than ever before, for ourselves and those around us, that refreshing and overflowing of His Holy Spirit.

I will be attending a family camp in Caaguazu Paraguay from the 14th through the 17th of January, 2010 and then another family camp in Isla Vega Paraguay from the 25th through the 31st.  This is the camp we have been visiting for the last couple of years.  Dad will also be at the Isla Vega camp and then head to Buenos Aires, Argentina.  I will be returning the 1st of February.
